Nigeria Reports 350 New Cases Of COVID-19 As Numbers Near 12K Mark

SAN FRANCISCO, June 4, (THEWILL) – The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Thursday said 350 persons tested positive for the coronavirus in the country which is still struggling to scale up testing. The total number of cases has risen to 11, 516 with 3, 535 recoveries and 323 deaths (8 reported Thursday).

Lagos remains the epicenter with 102 new cases reported with Ogun adding 34, FCT 29, Borno 26 and Kaduna 23. See below for full data.

The NCDC says it had tested 71, 336 samples as at June 3, 2020.
