Nigeria Reports 197 Confirmed New Cases Of COVID-19

BEVERLY HILLS, September 10, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Thursday recorded 197 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus to bring the nationwide tally to 55, 829 with 43, 810 recoveries and 1, 075 deaths (5 new deaths).

According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Plateau State posted 83 new cases, while Lagos, the State with the highest number of recorded cases reported 48. Kaduna reported 17, the FCT 16 and Ogun 11. See below for a full breakdown.

The NCDC also said it has so far tested 433, 206 samples as at September 9, 2020.
