Nigeria Records 437 New Cases Of COVID-19

BEVERLY HILLS, August 9, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Sunday reported 437 confirmed new cases of the deadly coronavirus to bring the tally in the country to 46, 577 with 33, 186 recoveries and 945 deaths (3 new).

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Lagos the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, added 107 new cases, while the FCT posted 91. See below for a full update.

The NCDC says it has tested 317, 496 samples as at August 8, 2020.

Nigeria has a daily testing capacity of about 3, 500 samples, a far cry from what is required to compile a credible data of the pandemic in the country.
