SAN FRANCISCO, August 1, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Saturday recorded 386 confirmed new cases of the deadly coronavirus, its lowest in at least 6 weeks, to bring the tally nationwide to 43, 537, with 20, 087 recoveries and 883 deaths (4 new).
According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, the FCT topped the new cases for the third straight day with 93 infections while Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country reported 78 new infections. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC said it has tested 283, 916 samples as at July 31, 2020.
