Nigeria Records 276 New Cases Of COVID-19, Sixteen New Deaths

SAN FRANCISCO, May 26, (THEWILL) – The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Tuesday reported 276 new cases of the coronavirus and sixteen new deaths, bringing the total cases so far to 8, 344 and 249 deaths.

According to Tuesday’s data, 2, 385 recoveries have been recorded since the pandemic was detected in the country.

Lagos, the epicenter of the disease, kept its number one spot with 161 new cases while Rivers added 36. Edo 27, Kaduna 19, Nasarawa 10, Oyo 6, Kano 4, Delta 3, Ebonyi 3, Gombe 2, Ogun 1, Ondo 1, Borno 1, Abia 1 and Bauchi 1.

The NCDC has tested 46, 803 samples as at May 24, 2020.
