BEVERLY HILLS, October 03, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s total coronavirus cases has been put at 59, 287 by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, after 160 new cases were reported across 13 States on Saturday.
The Nigerian infectious disease agency also put total recoveries at 50, 718 with death toll rising by 1 to bring the total fatalities to 1, 113.
Rivers State recorded 42 new cases, with Lagos State, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country recording 32 new cases, while Plateau State posted 21 and the FCT 18. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC says it has tested 532, 765 samples as at October 2, 2020.
