Nigeria Officially Reports 111 New Cases Of Coronavirus, More Deaths

BEVERLY HILLS, September 23, (THEWILL) – The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, is officially reporting 111 new cases of the coronavirus across 12 States to bring the official national tally to 57, 724.

The infectious disease agency on Wednesday, also put total recoveries at 48, 985, and the death toll hit 1, 102 after 2 new fatalities.

Lagos State, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, saw 31 new cases with Gombe state adding 18. Other states with new cases include Kaduna 18, the Federal Capital Territory 15, Rivers 14, Imo 3 and Kwara. See below for a full breakdown and more on the pandemic.

The NCDC says it’s tested samples stands at 487, 786 so far.
