SAN FRANCISCO, June 30, (THEWILL) – Singer, Adekunle Gold, has called out the Nigeria Customs Service over their arbitrary increase of duties on goods imported into the country for sale.
Gold, who welcomed a child recently with fellow singer and wife, Simi, took to his Twitter handle to condemn the practice, cautioned that it is choking small and legitimate businesses.
“People are trying their hardest to do legitimate business in the country. Customs Duty is there doing a lot of madness and crippling businesses.
“Lord, make it make sense. Because I’m really tired.”
THEWILL recalls that Actress, Uche Elendu, had also complained about the arbitrary duties.
