June 28, (THEWILL) – Talk show host, Nick Cannon, has revealed his desire to get married in future despite failing miserably in monogamy.
In an espisode of “All the way with Shelley Wade” podcast on Sunday, he discussed his love life which has literally seen him welcoming more children over the years.
Cannon is father to more than seven children, with more children on the way. The actor is father to twins Monroe and Moroccan, 10, who he shares with ex-wife, Mariah Carey. Golden, “Sagon” 4, and Powerful Queen, 1, with model, Brittany Bell, twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 7 months, with Abby De La Rosa and his late son, Zen with Alyssa Scott.
He recently revealed that he is expecting multi children on the way after giving up on celibacy. He fell off the celibacy wagon when he was depressed as a result of the death of his son, Zen. And female around him tried to cheer him up with sex.
During the podcast, he said he is opened to the idea of getting married again somewhere down the line. He also said he has faced many hurdles that prevented him from getting committed to just one person.
“I’ve failed miserably so many times at monogamy, but God ain’t done with me.
“I’m hopelessly romantic at the end of the day, so, I love the concept, I love the ceremony of it.”
He also noted that he wants “someone who will understand me and stand with me.”
Adding that it wouldn’t be fair to rule out the possibility of tying the knot again and his partner must be able to “hold him down through all the madness and toxicity.”
Cannon was formerly married to talented singer, Mariah Carey.
