October 12, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF), a leading environmental non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Africa, will hold its 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 12 pm.
Moving this report of stewardship online is due to COVID-19 restriction that prevents in-gathering of more than 50 people.
In line with the statutory requirements of CAC, the NCF gave its members a 21-day notice two weeks ago.
According to the NCF director-general, Dr Muhtari Aminu-Kano, who also doubles as the secretary to the National Executive Council of the foundation, “the AGM will be used to transact the following businesses: to receive and consider the report of the National Executive Council, the Audited Financial Statements and the Auditor’s Report for the year ended 31st December 2020; to re-appoint the auditors; and to conduct any other business that may be properly transacted at an AGM”.
The NCF is the foremost environmental NGO dedicated to nature conservation and biodiversity resource management in Nigeria. For about four decades, it has continued to promote having “a Nigeria where people prosper while leaving in harmony with nature”.
