July 04, (THEWILL) – The Director-General (DG), Saliu Mustapha Foundation, Adebayo Ambali, has expressed the confidence that his principal, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, who is the Kwara Central Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will win the Senatorial election in 2023.
Ambali expressed his optimism at a rally in Ilorin organised by a political organization, Razaq Kolade Olokoba (RKO) Network Groups to galvanize support for the senatorial candidate, saying his pedigree and antecedent are convincing sufficiently that,, “the senatorial cap fits him and he will deliver the good to his people in the district specially and to the state generally.
According to him, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has cut his teeth and paid his dues politically, economically and philanthropically in the state and the country so much that nothing less than 75 per cent of the votes in the general election would be his, pointing out that, “this is the period the people have been expecting to reciprocate the good deeds he has been ceaselessly extending to the communities around him.”
In his opening remarks on the occasion, Founder and Convener, Comrade Razaq Kolade Olokoba, disclosed that major reason for the massive rally was to endorse and seek supports for three major candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the state.
The three candidates according to the renowned activist are; the Senatorial Candidate for the Kwara Central District, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, the sitting Governor, Alhaji AbdurRahman AbdurRazaq and the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying, “the three candidates, by our assessment and integrity test, are eminently qualified for the positions they are yearning to occupy.”
It would be recalled that a renowned philanthropist cum politician, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has emerged the Kwara Central Senatorial District senatorial candidate on the ticket of the APC for the next year, 2023 general election.
The arrowhead of the rally, Razaq Kolade Olokoba (RKO), political Network Groups, the Kwara Central Volunteers for Saliu Mustapha Senatorial ambition and Coalition of several other Civil Society Groups among others were present for solidarity and goodwill support.
