August 5, (THEWILL) – Eyiwumi Aramide, otherwise known as Muka Ray, has been appointed by Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, as his Senior Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism.
The governor announced the appointment in a statement issued by Rafiu Ajakaye, his chief press secretary, on Thursday.
Muka Ray is from the Ipetu/Rore/Aran-Orin ward in Irepodun LGA of the state.
The actor also took to his Instagram page to express his excitement at the appointment.
In the post, Muka Ray appreciated the governor and other persons who made it a reality.
“Special thanks to the people’s governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara state governor, for appointing me as the senior special assistant to the governor on culture on tourism. Thank you all, I am now honourable Muka Ray,” he wrote.
The actor and film director is popular in the Yoruba movie industry.
