BEVERLY HILLS, March 27, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress and ex-beauty queen, Yetunde Barnabas, has married her lover, Peter Olayinka, a Nigerian footballer.
The lovers took to their individual Instagram accounts on Friday to share loved-up photos dressed in traditional attires.
The couple was seen dancing to ‘Running To You’, a song by popular Nigerian singers, Chike and Simi.
In one of the posts, Yetunde applauded Olayinka for showing her “true love” saying that such made her come closer to him.
“Thank you for showing me that true love does exist and that’s why I’m yours forever,”she wrote.
Olayinka, on his part, thanked his new bride for bringing happiness to his life as he pledged his love for her.
“I may not have the right words to express to you how I feel about you and how blessed I am that you came into my life. I just want to let you know that I love you with everything I’ve got and this journey with you is forever,” he wrote.
THEWILL writes that the lovebirds met in 2019 and dated shortly after the encounter.
Yetunde became popular for her role as Miss Pepeiye in ‘Papa Ajasco’, a popular Nigerian family television and she has since featured in several movie roles.
Olayinka, on his part, plays for Slavia Prague, a professional football club in the Czech Republic and he has had a brief stint with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
