SAN FRANCISCO, June 01, (THEWILL) – Manchester United have extended Odion Ighalo’s loan until the end of January 2021.
The club confirmed this on Twitter on Monday.
THEWILL recalls that Ighalo joined Manchester United in a Deadline Day move in January from Shanghai Greenland Shenhua and has scored four goals in eight appearances for the club prior to the suspension of the Premier League because of coronavirus.
Before the formal announcement of his contract extension, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had hinted that the club would retain the goalscorer.
