Malinzi Elected New TFF President

Jamal Malinzi has been elected the new Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) chairman taking over from Leodegar Tenga.

Immediately upon being elected into office Malinzi got straight to work disbanding all the federation committees and also pardoned all the people banned by the federation for various offences as he said he wanted cordial relations to make football move forward.

Malinzi won by 73 votes beating outgoing TFF second vice president Nyamlani who had 52 votes. There was drama earlier when Malinzi was disqualified from the race forcing Fifa to order TFF to immediately restart the electoral process.

Walace Karia was elected as the vice president after he garnered 67 votes beating his challenger Ramadhan Nassibe who managed 52 votes.

Executive Committee members elected are Kalilo Samson , Vedastus Lufano, Epaphra Swai , Walii Ali , Ahmed Mgoyi , Blassy Kiondo ,Ayoub Nyenzi , James Mhagama , Athuman Kambi, Hussein Mwamba , Geofrey Nyange ‘Kaburu’ , Khalid Mohamed and Wilfred Kidao.
