June 20, (THEWILL) – Adelabu Alexander, fast rising music act and signee of Michael Collins Ajereh’s record label, Marvin record has explained what he meant with his comment on Wizkid and Chris Brown’s song, Call Me Everyday.
The singer had on Sunday made a tweet on the song sang by Chris Brown where he featured wizkid. He stated “This new Chris Brown and Wiz song is stupid”. But later deleted the post.
The singer received knocks after the post with many criticising his comment.
However, the singer has decided to react to the post after so many criticisms.
According to him, his comment was highly misunderstood. He revealed that the word “stupid” is a slang for “dope”.
He added that he deleted the tweet because of the comment was misunderstood.
He noted that as a musician, he only post music that he loves and described as an irony the fact that he was getting hatred for hyping a song.
“I think my only mistake yesterday is deleting the tweet. Why? I felt I was being misunderstood.
“Then this morning, woke up to so many hate comments on my IG post which goes to show how desperate these blogs are for comments and likes.
“I’m a music lover and if you check my history of tweets, I only tweet about music that I love. STUPID is a slang for dope.
“I didn’t know I was going to get people hating for hyping a song, the irony. We really need to be better people. I’m so sick from all these. I’ll be attaching the dictionary meaning to this tweet once again for clarity.”
He then shared a screenshot from an online dictionary which described stupid as a slang for amazing.
