London School Where Nigerian Is Principal Breaks Britain A-Level Record

SAN FRANCISCO, August 20, (THEWILL) – A London school, where Dayo Olukoshi, OBE, a native Nigerian, is the Principal has achieved record A-level results with more than 100 students achieving straight A or A* grades.

Brampton Manor Academy located in Newham Community with students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, will have at least 20 students heading to top Britain universities – Oxford or Cambridge and other top Britain universities.

A BBC report said 99% of students from the school achieved between A*-C.

“We are a very successful school because we focus very strongly on what really matters: — the quality of teaching and learning. In 2012 and 2018, Ofsted concluded that our overall effectiveness is outstanding because: Student achievement is outstanding; Quality of teaching and learning is outstanding; Student behaviour is outstanding and Quality of leadership and management is outstanding,” Olukoshi said in a note THEWILL obtained from the school’s website.

“Students of all ages and abilities make outstanding progress because of the rich curriculum we offer, along with the excellent care, guidance and support we provide. Our school motto ‘success through effort & determination’ underpins all that we do here at Brampton Manor Academy and our mission is simple: to ensure that no child is left behind.”
