August 01, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Lizzy Gold Onuwaje, aka Lizzy Gold, has distanced herself from an online report on her financial assets.
The actress dismissed the report, which claimed that she was worth $400,000, as untrue.
She said that contrary to the report, she was not wealthy yet, only working hard and she did not have as much money as the figure mentioned.
She noted that some actors were kidnapped in the past because people believed they were richer than they appeared to be.
The actress, who is doing everything within her power to avoid falling victim to kidnappers, uploaded a screenshot of her networth online and wrote underneath.
“This is one of the reasons actors are being kidnapped, they think we are so rich. I need to arrest the person behind these lies.
“I am working hard to be wealthy but I am currently not close to any of the amount mentioned there. I don’t have money, I’m still a hustler. Please do not believe what you read on the Internet,” she said.
