Kwankwaso, APGA Presidential Candidate Meet In Abuja

December 13, (THEWILL) – Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has met with his counterpart in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Professor Peter Umeadi, in Abuja.

Also in attendance were the NNPP National Chairman, Professor Rufai Alkali and the Party’s Deputy National Chairman, AVM John Ifemeje (rtd).

The NNPP’S National Publicity Secretary, Dr Agbo Major, said the leaders reviewed the political situation in the country and the need for free, fair, credible, transparent, peaceful, inclusive and generally acceptable elections that will further deepen the nation’s emerging democracy.

“Senator Kwankwaso has been consulting with national leaders, traditional and religious leaders, and eminent Nigerians with a view to building a new Nigeria anchored on justice, equity, infrastructure, education, industrialisation, security, prosperity and abundant delivery of dividends of democracy, which only NNPP can offer if voted into office.”

Kwankwaso, in his nationwide consultation, had met with Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, Generals Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar.

He also met Governor Nyesom Wike, elder statesman, Chief Olu Falae, former Governors Donald Duke of Cross River and Gbenga Daniel of Ogun State.

The NNPP’S National Publicity Secretary said, ’’The nationwide consultation continues as the Party is poised to win the upcoming presidential election with the support of Nigerians and like-minded political parties.

“From every indication, a new Nigeria is possible with NNPP. We are all in it together”, he added.
