Kevin Durant, 3 Other Nets Players Contract Coronavirus

SAN FRANCISCO, March 17, (THEWILL) – NBA superstar and 2-time NBA champion and Finals MVP, Kevin Durant alongside 3 other players of the Brooklyn Nets have contracted the deadly coronavirus. The other players have not been identified.

Durant told The Athletic’s reporter, Shams Charania that he is doing fine and wants “Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We’re going to get through this.”

Durant was not symptomatic before the test, according to the reporter.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Durant and the teammates were tested last week after returning from San Francisco following the botched game with the Golden State Warriors over the outbreak of coronavirus.
