September 27, (THEWILL) – Popular American Gospel singer, Kelly Price, has stated that she died and rose again during her battle with COVID-19.
Price disclosed this during a chat with TMZ saying that she and her husband had contracted COVID-19 and weren’t allowing visitors at their home.
THEWILL recalls that the Grammy-nominated R&B and Gospel singer was earlier reported missing after she was admitted to the hospital in August following her diagnosis.
Speaking of the encounter, the songstress disclosed that she was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit, where doctors struggled to save her life.
She said: “I was never missing. I was in my home, being seen by doctors. Everyone in my family knew where I was.
“At some point, they lost me. I woke up some days later and the first thing I remember was the team of doctors standing around me and asking if I knew what year it was. I died. I remember waking up in the ICU.
“I am facing a very uphill battle right now. I have a lot of rehabbing to do before I am able to be what I like to call concert-ready again. I suffered a lot of internal damage.”
THEWILL writes that the 48-year-old music star who has had eight studio albums to her name so far, had lost her grandfather to COVID-19 in 2020.
