SAN FRANCISCO, December 04, (THEWILL) – American heavyweight champion, Jarrell Miller, has received a two-year boxing ban from the Nevada Commission following his fourth positive drugs test in one year.

THEWILL recalls that in the run-up to the proposed fight between Miller and Anthony Joshua at Madison Square Garden in 2019, 36-year-old Miller failed multiple drug tests in the run. Also, he was banned from fighting with Andy Ruiz Jr who surprised everyone by defeating the British heavyweight, Anthony Joshua, who has since gotten back his title in the rematch.

Miller, who has served six-month suspension, was given a chance to redeem himself but earlier this year, he came back with another positive drug test which is his fourth in just one year.
