SAN FRANCISCO, October 21, (THEWILL) – Senator Shehu Sani has released a statement saying he would be joining a new party having resigned from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC on Saturday.
Sani made headlines after announcing his resignation from the party due to disagreements arising from the party’s senatorial primaries in Kaduna state where his name was dropped.
On Sunday, Sani, in a statement via his Facebook page, revealed that he will be announcing his new party in two days. The statement read;
“This is to thank all my supporters and friends for the show of solidarity and assurances of support over my decision to exit the APC.
“I assure you that in the next two days you will be informed of my new party. And be rest assured I will contest in the upcoming elections Insha Allah.”
