SAN FRANCISCO, September 30, (THEWILL) – Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong, says former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, influenced his decision to join Watford.
The former Udinese defender disclosed this while speaking with the club’s website on Wednesday.
He said: “Ighalo used to be my roommate. I spoke to Odion last week. He only had good things to say about the club. He’s a great guy, a fantastic player and like a big brother for me.”
THEWILL had earlier reported that Troost-Ekong joined Watford on Tuesday from Serie A club Udinese in a five- year deal.
