House Summons NSA, Service Chiefs, Tell Buhari To Declare State Of Emergency On Security

BEEVRLY HILLS, April 28, (THEWILL) – The House of Representatives has asked the President to declare a state of emergency on the security situation in the country.

The House resolution was part of the decision taken on Tuesday after a three- hour executive session.

The House also demanded immediate recruitment of personnel into the police and military.

It lamented that operatives in the services fall short of requirements.

The House also summoned the National Security Adviser, service chiefs and the Director General of NIGCOMSAT for briefing on security situation in the country.
