BEVERLY HILLS, May 06, (THEWILL) – Some persons suspected to be hoodlums on Thursday attacked Gengere, Mile 12 in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State.
In a video posted by a Nigerian comedian and movie star, Ayodeji Richard Makun, popularly known as A.Y. on his verified Facebook page, residents were seen fleeing for their lives.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the incident, said normalcy had been restored in the area.
He said, “Normalcy has been restored to Gengere, Mile 12 area of Lagos State following a fight that broke out among some hoodlums in the area. The command will give details soon.”
