BEVERLY HILLS, April 28, (THEWILL) – The Federal High Court in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, has been attacked by hoodlums who set some sections of the building on fires.
The hoodlums reportedly scaled the court perimetre fencing, and flung a petrol bomb into its inner recesses.
Two security guards were also injured during the attack that was said to have occurred around midnight on Monday.
The court’s library and the security post were badly torched.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Loveth Odah, confirmed the incident.
