June 22, (THEWILL) – Hailey Bieber, Singer Justin Bieber’s wife’s skincare line, Rhode, has been sued by another company bearing the same name.
According to reports, Bieber’s line was taken from her middle name, but now has been sued for copyright infringement by a clothing line called Rhode NYC, which claims that her skincare line threatens to eclipse their business because of the capital behind the Bieber name.
“The owners say they’ve already faced issues online… people have been tagging Hailey’s company by mistake instead of theirs, which they think shows there is clearly consumer confusion”, TMZ was quoted as saying.
Hailey’s skincare line is advertised to be formulated for sensitive skin and suitable for all skin types. It is reportedly vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free and fragrance-free.
