August 22, (THEWILL) – Gunmen have shot dead a prominent chief of Ughievwen Kingdom, Olorogun Emmanuel Bikogha.
A palace colleague of the deceased, Chief Freeborn Ayoma, who confirmed the incident, said he was attacked at the popular PTI junction, in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state at about 7:10 pm on Sunday.
The Delta State Police Command has not issued any statement on the incident. The spokesperson of the Command, DSP Bright Edafe, has not responded to calls and SMS on his phone, as of the time of filing this report.
Olorogun Bikogha hails from Owawha town, Ughievwen Kingdom. He holds the traditional title of ‘echihigan’ of Ughievwen Kingdom.
