BEVERLY HILLS, January 11, (THEWILL) – Gunmen have abducted Idongesit Silas Udokang, former councilor in Ward 10, Etim Ekpo local government area of Akwa Ibom State.
The hoodlums seized Udonkang, popularly called “Ijebu” from Edem Akai village, while on a visit to a female friend in the neigbouring village of Obon Ebot, also in Etim Ekpo LGA.
“The hoodlums stormed the lady’s compound in Obon Ebot village on motorcycles and took the former councilor away at gunpoint,” a family member reported.
“They have contacted the family and demanded for N1million.”
