August 19, (THEWILL) – Nigeria comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, has threatened to institute a legal suit against singer, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, aka Peruzzi, over his absence at the June 12 edition of Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and friends.
Adeyinka had instructed his lawyers to write Peruzzi after he failed to show up and perform at the event that was held in Akure on June 12, 2022.
The papers filed by Adeyinka’s lawyers implied that Peruzzi failed to show up and perform after the comedian had paid the sum of N2.5 million for his services.
It was also gathered that Adeyinka had incurred an extra N1.5 million that covered the flight ticket, rooms, and transportation to and from the airport for Peruzzi.
In an attempt to get his response, Adeyinka refused to comment on the matter, saying it is a legal matter and won’t want to distort the process.
However, the comedian was forced to instruct his lawyers to write Peruzzi, so as to prove to his teeming fans and show attendees that he truly contracted the services of the Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) signee and save his reputation.
Peruzzi and his management has refused to respond to calls and messages, seeking to get his response on the matter filed against him.
