BEVERLY HILLS, March 26, (THEWILL) – Famous Nigerian “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” host, Frank Edoho, has brushed aside calls for him to replace fashionista and pioneer compere, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, on the forthcoming Big Brother Naija Season Six.
Edoho was on Friday forced to jump into the conversation after social media users asked the organisers for a change of host for the popular reality TV show.
THEWILL writes that Ebuka has hosted the show since its inception in 2017.
Edoho has gained popularity after he hosted the popular programme, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire show for 13 years, under the sponsorship of telecoms giant, MTN.
Rejecting calls to replace his colleague, Ebuka as Big Brother Naija host this year, Edoho tweeted: “What did Ebuka do to deserve all this? Why would you want to change someone that has done a show successfully for only three years and have him replaced with one who did WWTBAM for 13 years? Leave Ebuka alone! Please.”
Edoho, addressing a Twitter user, who wanted him to replace Ebuka in the Big Brother reality show, stated that he will be back on television soon, but he is not taking the job of Big Brother Naija host.
“I’ll be back on TV soon. But absolutely not on Big Brother,” he said.
THEWILL writes that auditions for season six would soon begin following the announcement by the organisers. Winner of the show will take home N90 million worth of prizes.
