July 05, (THEWILL) – The Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Taraba Chapter, Comrade Peter Jidiel, has once more been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Sunday 4th July 2021.
THEWILL spoke to a family member who confirmed that Peter was abducted in his residence in Sunkani, Ardo Kola Local Government Area of the state at about 12:30am.
The abducted Chairman’s younger brother, Mr. Boniface Stephen, said the abductors called the family informing them that Peter was having a fever.
But as at the time of filing this report, no demands have been made by the abductors.
“Yes they came around 12:30am today Sunday and picked my brother again: and they called us later in the afternoon where they only told us that he is feeling feverish and just ended the call without making any demand but they promised to call back,” Boniface Stephen revealed.
It can be recalled that Mr. Peter Jediel was first kidnapped six months ago from his home in the early hours of Sunday 7th February at about 12:58am.
