BEVERLY HILLS, December 01, (THEWILL) – On the occasion of the 50th birthday anniversary of the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Melvin Pinnick, the social media lit up with well-wishers and friends of the football administrator congratulating and offering prayers on his behalf whilst felicitating with him.
The Twitter account of the NFF (@nff) was succinct in their greeting, which they followed with cake emojis and attached a suave picture of Pinnick decked in a suit and tie to match.
“Happy 50th birthday anniversary to our inimitable president @PinnickAmaju. We wish you long life and prosperity as you continue to lead Nigeria Football. Keep going strong.”
From the Super Eagles Twitter account came a heartwarming video with a brief message that read:
“Happy 50th birthday to our president @PinnickAmaju long life & prosperity from all of us.”
In the attached video, a select few Super Eagles players briefly congratulated the President and wished him well. Those featured included Joe Aribo (midfielder), Kelechi Iheanacho (forward), Alex Iwobi (forward), William Troost-Ekong (defender), Maduka Okoye (goalkeeper), Abdullahi Shehu (defender), and Ahmed Musa (captain, forward).
Coach Gernot Rohr also made an appearance, as the last person to comment in the video. He added some light humour to the wishes by hoping that he will not have been fired by December when the birthday is celebrated.
In addition to these social media greetings, the Football Club Association of Nigeria also sent a special goodwill message to mark the day.

They joined the ex-Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in appreciating God for bringing him this far and for making him a global personality in the world Football map as an astute soccer administrator.
They also enjoined the golden anniversary celebrant to stay focused in his aspirations all the way to the summit of his professional career.
“Mr. President sir, as a body which believes strongly in Association Football, we share in all your aspirations to always move higher as a destiny child that you are, kindly count on our support always.”
The Club Owners prayed on his behalf for God’s continued protection and guidance. They added prayers for the grace to sustain the growth of Football development in Nigeria, and wished him more fruitful years ahead.
On his part, Nigeria and Napoli striker currently sidelined by injury extended his felicitations via Twitter.
“On this day, I want to wish a very happy birthday to a highly phenomenal boss. May this day and the rest of your days be filled with enjoyment and internal peace.”
