August 17, (THEWILL) – Cynthia ‘”Cee-C” Nwadiora, ex-housemate of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show, has stated that she experienced a lot of hatred after her stay on the show.
Cee-C disclosed this during a chat with media personality Chude as she discussed how she managed to overcome negative criticisms after the 2018 edition of the show.
According to her, the depth of love she got from her “inner circle” helped her to withstand the toxicity that came her way during the period.
She said: “When I came out of the house, I experienced a lot of hatred. That was very obvious.
“I can’t say for sure where exactly the hate was coming from but one thing the people around me did for me was that they helped me to focus on the positive side. You know, the love. So, I was not paying attention to the hate.
“People should say what they want to say, it is really not my business. What matters to me is myself and people who actually care about me.”
She also disclosed that while the show lasted, she initially found it difficult to adapt but she managed to overcome her struggles through the help of a fellow housemate.
“I didn’t know what to do with myself. For me it was more like, just survive. To do this, I got close to a particular person in the house. That was the only way I could survive. So, when everything went bad, it hit me hard,” she added.
THEWILL recalls that Cee-C was the first runner-up during the show’s third season.
