October 09, (THEWILL) – The Euro 2024 preparations are already underway after the qualification draw was held earlier on Sunday at a ceremony in Frankfurt, where European countries learned who will stand in their way of a place in the finals in Germany.
The most notable result of the draw is that England will play Italy once more in Group C, which will also include Malta, Ukraine, and North Macedonia. Scotland will face Georgia, Cyprus, Norway, and Spain on their journey to the European Championships final.
Wales will be relieved not to have been drawn again with Belgium, but the Republic of Ireland has been assigned a Group of Death alongside the strong opponents in Netherlands and France.
