SAN FRANCISCO, November 09, (THEWILL) – EndSARS promoter, Modupe ‘Moe’ Odele, has finally retrieved her travel passport from officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) after they seized it from her last week and prevented her from boarding an international flight from the MMIA in Lagos.
Ms. Odele is a lawyer and member of the Feminist Coalition, one of the groups behind the #ENDSARS protests that rocked the country a few weeks ago.
Reports of the seizure drew criticisms from the public.
She, however, said in a tweet Monday that she’s been cleared to travel and taken possession of her passport.
“Passport now picked up. No issues. I’m told I can travel at any time. Thank you so much everyone for the help and concern.”
