Empress Njamah Gets Over Ada Ameh’s Death, Addresses Condolence Visit Controversy

July 29, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress cum entrepreneur, Empress Njamah, is gradually getting over the death of her best friend, Ada Ameh.

Ada Ameh, unfortunately passed on last week in Warri, Delta State, while visiting a couple. Before her death, she battled depression and ill health for a long time as a result of the loss of her siblings and only child.

Her best friend, Empress Njamah, has been the only colleague who stood by her during her travail, ensuring she gets the love and support to help her recover.

Unfortunately, she eventually lost the battle. Njamah was shattered after her death and she battled to overcome her grief.

In a video that went viral, Njamah was crying inconsolably while opening a condolence register for her best friend.

The video recording of the condolence visit, which was uploaded online generated controversy as one of her colleagues, Etinosa Idemudia, criticised the act.

She stated that those who paid the condolence visit and the people who made the recording were insensitive to a serious situation.

After getting over the death of her friend, Njamah took to social media to thank those who stood by her. She eulogised her late friend and also addressed the controversy.

In a post titled, keep sleeping my sweet trouble, she stated “My joy is that I posted this video smiling, thought I was going to soak my pillow with tears, but all I did was smile.

“Glad I can now get on my phone and have the strength and courage to type. It is well. It is amazing the things that I see on social media.

“Many things brought to my knowledge, it’s not the right time to speak, let me mourn in peace, but it’s really a pity.

“There is time for everything and the time for me to talk will come, but for now, let me heal. Thanks to all who reached out, could not pick calls and reply messages, but I never forget @adaameh, I miss you sha, but you are in a better place”, she wrote.
