SAN FRANCISCO, August 12, (THEWILL) – Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has topped Forbes’ annual list of highest-paid Hollywood actors for the second year in a row, pulling in an eye-popping $87.5 million for the 12 months leading up to June 1.
According to Forbes, the American-Canadian movie star is said to have received $23.5 million from Netflix for his role in ‘Red Notice’, a yet-to-be-released movie. Also, he had another big payday from his Under Armour apparel line called Project Rock.
Other actors on the list include Ryan Reynolds, ‘Deadpool’ star, who took second place with $71.5 million, while Mark Wahlberg, an actor and former rapper was third with earnings of $58 million.
Wahlberg’s action movie, ‘Spencer Confidential’, was the third-most-watched original film on Netflix after it started in March.
Number four is Ben Affleck with $55 million while Vin Diesel rounded out the top five with $54 million.
