December 06, (THEWILL) – Dupe Olusola, the Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, has emerged fourth place at the Strategic African Women in
Leadership trailblazer’s award, SAWIL.
Dupe who started manning the upscale hospitality centre since 2020 took the 4th position among 30 top executive ladies who jostled for the position at the trailblazer award.
Speaking about her achievement, the elated woman expressed gratitude to the organizers of SAWIL award for the great honour and the opportunity given to the
female gender to own their space as career women.
According to her, the platform has continued to inspire women and young girls to be truly authentic to who they are and what they want to be in life. And the story of the 30 top executives has been inspiring to her.
SAWIL was established in 2014 by a South African, Seipati Mokhuoa. It was established to celebrate South African Women leaders in Corporate South Africa but in 2021, it was expanded to the rest of Africa as Strategic African Women in Leadership.
The aim of SAWIL is to see African women take their rightful place as leaders and economic powerhouse in the continent. It is a vehicle for women leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals in Africa seeking to advance their career through leadership training, executive coaching, entrepreneurship training,
master classes, board training, mentorship and networking.
