SAN FRANCISCO, June 20, (THEWILL) – The Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon Leo Ogor; Chief Security Adviser to the Delta State governor, Rear Admiral John Kpokpogri (rtd); as well as a cleric, Archbishop Christian A.O. Apena, of Bethesda Gospel Mission, have been fingered in a messy community plot to allegedly cripple the All Peoples Congress (APC) in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State ahead of the 2015 general elections.

Already, a man simple identified as Prince Gabriel Othuke, who allegedly lampooned Ogor on the pages of a newspaper over what he called his failure to keep to his electioneering promises, has become the first casualty of the alleged plot as he was allegedly banished from Ikpide-Irri community, Isoko South Local Government Area of the State.

The victim’s father, who is one of the ‘Odio’ (older man) in the community, is , allegedly, also being victimised by the trio who had allegedly deployed security personnel to the community to intimidate and harass perceived members of the opposition party in the community.

THEWILL gathered that the dramatis personae had allegedly induced some members of the community who converged in church premises under the supervision of the cleric, who also hailed from the community, to send the APC member, who doubles as leader of Ikpide-Irri Youth Movement, away from the community.

Impeccable sources disclosed that the said victims had, in an article published in a local tabloid, accused Ogor for failing to give his stewardship in the last 12 years in the green chambers as well as failing to keep to the electoral promises made to Ikpide_Irri community of which he (Prince Othuke) was summoned and fined by the community who fear the publication could pitch Ogor against the people.

THEWILL learnt that not long after the community leadership led by one Comrade Thomas Oduazor had waded into the issue and asked the APC member to refute the report and pay N30, 000 fine, the trio of Apena, Kpokpogri as well as one Omojefe, who also claimed to be an aide of President Goodluck Jonathan had induced some members of the community with money to banish the APC member in a bid to appease Ogor, who sources said ,was furious over the claims of his poor performance.

THEWILL gathered that tension had mounted in the once-peaceful community over the development as the dramatis personae were said to have being terrorising the community allegedly with armed security personnel threatening to deal with anyone who dares to flag the APC banner in the community.

An indigene of the troubled community who craved anonymity for fear of being victimised told THEWILL in a statement that: “Kpokpogri and his PDP cabal vowed to use their money and connection to chase everybody away from the community once you are not a member of PDP

The annoying thing is that they will be saying they have the full backing of the state governor and Mr. President.

“As I talk to you, we reliably gathered that the cabal has concluded plans to import dangerous weapons into the community ahead of the 2015 general elections and anyone who challenges them during the elections shall be maimed and killed because they already have the backing of government. They should be called to order before it’s too late.

“No one can make Ikpide-Irri a war zone or a PDP community. All we are saying is that 100 percent level playing ground should be given to all political parties in the town. It’s very unfortunate that this PDP cabal after holding their meetings on how to cause mayhem in the community, will report back to a serving federal lawmaker in the area for gratifications.

“I therefore implore Governor Uduaghan, as a matter of urgency and importance, to call to order his Chief Security Adviser and charge him to stop using his office to intimidate and cause problems for Ikpide-Irri people. We are also calling on the government to investigate their sources of income and the incident.”
