BEVERLY HILLS, May 11, (THEWILL) – A minister with the Deeper Life Bible Church at Irese town, Akure South Local Government, identified as Pastor Ogedengbe, has been abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.
The incident happened on Monday evening in the church premises.
A member of the church, who confirmed the abduction, said the abductors came in a black Toyota Corolla car.
“He was kidnapped inside the church. They came in a black Corolla sport car. They took only him away,” he said.
Ondo Police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, confirmed the abduction and said investigation had commenced.
Until he retired from the civil service, Ogedengbe was a Director in the State Ministry of Education.
