BEVERLY HILLS, February 19, (THEWILL) – Award-winning Nigerian singer, David Adeleke more popularly known as Davido keeps winning as his 2017 hit single “If” has been certified Gold in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The song sold 500,000 copies in the U.S to earn the certification.
“If” is Davido’s second song to get the gold certification after “Fall” which received over 40 million streams on Spotify, and has been certified gold by the RIAA and Music Canada.
“If” was also certified diamond by the Recording Industry of South Africa, indicating shipments of 200,000 units.
