SAN FRANCISCO, December 19, (THEWILL) – Nigerian dancehall singer, Cynthia Morgan, has accused Davido of ignoring her calls and messages after he asked her to reach out to him a few months back.
THEWILL had earlier reported the feud between the dancehall musician and Jude Okoye, the CEO of Northside Entertainment, her former label.
Morgan, who later adopted Madrina, had shared her story concerning her long absence from the music scene and many Nigerians have expressed their sympathies.
Also, Sterling Bank had also offered to partner with the songwriter for its ‘One Bank’ campaign then.
Davido , also took to his Twitter page asking Morgan to call him, saying that he had some gigs for her.
“Cynthia Morgan called me,” he wrote, stating in another post that ,“Tell Cynthia l got an anthem for her… I’ll record my verse now.”
As at that time, many Nigerians had applauded Davido for his kindness but in a recent Interview with Lagos- based entertainment television, HipTV, Morgan disclosed that Davido had not reached out to her since then.
According to her, the “Fem” crooner has been ignoring her calls and messages for over three months.
She said: “After the interview that I had with Sandra, I did see a tweet where David said ‘Cynthia call Me’ and ‘I did call David but he didn’t take his calls. I sent messages on WhatsApp but he didn’t reply to them.
“It’s just a long story actually…but l don’t know. Even the record he sent, I made a demo verse of the record and it’s been like three months we’ve not heard anything from Davido.”
THEWILL writes that Davido has not responded to Morgan’s claim as of the time of filing this report.
