March 19, (THEWILL) – On Friday, NBA’s Golden State Warriors revealed that the injured ligament of star player, Stephen Curry’s left foot will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
As THEWILL reported, Wednesday’s X-rays on Curry’s foot came back negative, indicating that there is no fracture or serious injury.
Curry departed the Golden State Warriors’ game against Boston in the first half and did not return. It was from an incident when Curry and Celtics guard, Marcus Smart, dived for a loose ball at 4:19 in the second quarter.
Curry’s left leg was rolled up by Smart, resulting in an internal sprain. The Warriors’ point guard lasted just 14 minutes, scoring three points, grabbing one rebound, and dishing out two assists before exiting the game.
Through 63 games this season, Curry has averaged 25.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. He was sorely missed against Boston, who took advantage of his absence to defeat GSW 110-88.
