SAN FRANCISCO, May 16, (THEWILL) – Sixty-seven (67) persons Saturday recovered from COVID-19 in Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in Nigeria, according to the Lagos State Ministry of Health.
The patients have been discharged from the treatment centers in the state after testing negative twice.
In a tweet, the ministry said 22 females and 45 males including 3 foreign nationals (2 Indians and 1 Chinese) “have been discharged from our facilities to reunite with society.
2294 persons have contracted the virus in Lagos State with 608 total recoveries. There are however 1,699 active cases in the state with 36 deaths.
