SAN FRANCISCO, March 18, (THEWILL) – The ongoing orientation for the National Youth Service has been cut short by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The minister, Sunday Dare, made this known saying it is part of the Federal Government’s precautionary measure against the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
THEWILL recalls that the orientation programme started on March 10 and was supposed to end on March 30.
All corps members are to be paid and sent to their places of primary assignment immediately.
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, is however expected to give more details.
