June 09, (THEWILL) – Nigerian skit maker and thespian, Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, on Wednesday, said that every citizen of the country has every right to support any candidate or party of their choice as regards the upcoming 2023 general election.
He said this on his Twitter handle.
He, however, added a clause as to what should determine who gets their support.
He said, “Every citizen has every right to support any candidate or party of their choice!! And that’s the truth. That is democracy.
“But if you look at Nigeria today and still need anyone to convince you on the right choice, then suffer never tire us be that. I rest my case.”
The three frontline candidates jostling to be Nigeria’s next president are Bola Tinubu, the flagbearer of All Progressives Congress; Atiku Abubakar, the flag bearer of Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of Labour Party.
