SAN FRANCISCO, September 05, (THEWILL) – German soccer star, Kai Havertz, has completed his record move to London club, Chelsea FC in a deal worth £72-million plus £18-million in add-ons.
Havertz, who plays as an attacking midfielder or right winger, is now the most expensive German player after inking a 5-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
“I am very happy and proud to be here, For me it is a dream come true to play in a big club like Chelsea and I can’t wait to meet all the players and the trainers,” Haverts told the club’s website.
THEWILL reports that Havertz scored 46 goals for former club, Bayern Leverkusen with 31 assists in 150 appearances.
