SAN FRANCISCO, April 16, (THEWILL) – Chadian army, on Monday, said that it killed 63 Boko Haram fighters during a fight near Lake Chad.
Its spokesman, Azem Bermendoa Agouna, who disclosed this said seven Chadian Soldiers lost their lives in the attack on army position in Kaiga Kindjiria, in western Chad.
Agouna also said 15 soldiers were injured in the attack which occurred on Sunday.
The onslaught occurred barely 24 hours after Nigerian and Cameroonian forces killed 27 insurgents in a joint operation.
